This retracted the article "Effects of emotional labor and job stress on turnover intention among firefighters" in Volume 26 on page 21.

“Effects of emotional labor and job stress on turnover intention among firefighters,” published in The Korean Journal of Emergency Medical Services (KJEMS) in December 2022, has been retracted from publication.

The author violated the journal’s publication ethics policy by illegitimate authorship.

The ethical ID submitted by the authors is not relevant to this article, and no valid ethical ID was subsequently provided.

Therefore, the KJEMS ethics committee has decided to retract this paper from the journal. We apologize to readers and assure them that we aim to thoroughly screen for ethics violations prior to publishing papers in The Korean Journal of Emergency Medical Services.
